The commissioners Invite our residents to participate in our public meetings. The input they seek from residents makes sure all decisions are well informed.
At every meeting, the President/Chair will announce when it’s time for public input. No advance notice is required.

Two types of meetings are open to the public:
Typical Agenda:
Regular meetings are held at the Verdant Community Wellness Center in the Cedar room, typically on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8 a.m.- 10 a.m., unless otherwise noted. The building will open at 7:45 AM for citizens who would like to attend the meeting in person. Participants may also participate in the meeting virtually with the ZOOM link that is provided.
Board Meeting Agenda & Minutes Archive
These meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is provided. At these meetings, special topics are studied in more detail than what time permits at regular monthly board meetings.
Reports on Verdant’s community impact, financials, and accountability to the community are available for review. Reports not listed on this site are available by request.
Verdant’s impact report for 2020 highlights the organization’s financial investment in community health grants as well as the number of people served by grants and services.

RCW 39.34 permits a local government to enter into interlocal agreements with other public agencies in the interest of cooperatively sharing resources for their mutual benefit. In accordance with RCW 39.34, Public Hospital District No. 2, Snohomish County dba Verdant Health Commission has executed interlocal agreements with other public agencies for various purposes over the years.
