The Verdant Health Commission is a program of Public Hospital District No. 2, Snohomish County (the “District”). In consideration of your use of the Site, you agree to the following General Terms of Use. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms of Use at any time. Please check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to these Terms of Use will mean you accept those changes.

Use of the Site

The material provided on Verdant’s Site is designed for educational and informational purposes only. It is provided with the understanding that Verdant is not engaged in rendering medical advice or recommendation. You should not rely on any information on the Site to replace consultations with qualified health care professionals to meet your individual medical needs. If you have, or suspect you may have, a health problem, you should consult your health care provider.

Materials on the Site, including text, graphics, photographs, images, sound, illustrations, videos, articles (“Content”), as well as the design and organization of the Site are owned by Verdant, its licensors, and/or its content providers and are protected by copyright, trade dress, trademark and other laws relating to intellectual property rights. The Site and the Content are made available for personal, informational, and noncommercial use only. Permission to otherwise reprint, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, sell or electronically reproduce the Site, in part or in its entirety, is expressly prohibited, unless prior written consent is obtained from the rightful owner or Verdant. When Verdant’s Web site includes links to other sites, Verdant does not assume any responsibility or liability for any communications or materials available at the sites to which it links, including responsibility or liability in their accuracy. No link on Verdant’s Site is a referral, affiliation or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service. Such links are provided for convenience only. Links are posted at the sole discretion of Verdant, in an effort to provide residents of South Snohomish County with useful and relevant resources.

Facilities and Events Listed

As a program the District, Verdant is focused on serving the residents of its district. As such, the facilities and events listed on the Site must be geographically located within the District boundaries or within one mile of the District’s boundaries. The District’s boundaries are: the King-Snohomish County line to the south, 148th Street SW to the north, Puget Sound to the west and 3rd Avenue SE to the east. A map of the District is located here. Community health events coordinated by an organization located within the District, but with the event taking place outside of the District, may be considered for inclusion. Events must be supporting the health and well-being of residents to be considered for posting. Events posted are at the sole discretion of Verdant.

BY SIGNIFYING YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS OF USE, YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THIS SITE AND THE CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” VERDANT, ITS AGENTS AND ITS SUPPLIERS, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTIES’ RIGHTS, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Governing Law

This Website is created and controlled by Verdant in the State of Washington. These disclaimers, conditions and terms of use are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, excluding its conflicts of laws provisions. By using this Site, you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this Site. If any portion of these Terms of Use are held to be unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be construed in accordance with applicable law to the greatest extent possible to reflect the original intentions of the parties, and the remainder of the provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Verdant’s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right.
