The Verdant Health Commission is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the residents of South Snohomish County. We work collaboratively and creatively with community-based organizations to meet the needs of our whole community.
In 2025 The Verdant Health Commission will host an annual funding cycle and will seek applications that serve the varied and diverse health needs of our residents.
Verdant’s annual funding cycle supports programs that improve health outcomes across our community. In alignment with our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, we seek proposals that address our current funding priority areas:

| Mental Health (Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults) | Programs that support the mental well-being of youth and young adults, including both clinical and non-clinical services. |
| Access to Direct Healthcare Services |
Projects that expand access to essential medical and dental care for underserved populations. |
| Food Security (by invitation only) | While no longer a central focus of open funding, Verdant will continue supporting food security initiatives through ongoing contracts with trusted partners. |

Our funding is awarded through our annual funding cycle. If approved for funding the contract term is for one year, January to December. Partners must re-apply for funding on an annual basis. Applications for this funding opportunity must meet our established criteria and be submitted using our Grant Portal. Please refer to our Funding Guidelines for more details on completing your application.
