The Verdant Health Commission is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the residents of South Snohomish County. We work collaboratively and creatively with community-based organizations to meet the needs of our whole community.
In 2025 The Verdant Health Commission will host an annual funding cycle and will seek applications that serve the varied and diverse health needs of our residents.
We prioritize funding programs that improve the health and wellness of our community and the health outcomes of our residents. Verdant’s three strategic priorities for 2025 are:

| Mental Health | All residents have access to clinical and non-clinical mental health and substance use disorder prevention and treatments. |
| Healthcare Access | All residents have access to medical and dental services. |
| Food Security | All residents have access to healthy, nutritious food that supports their health needs. |

Our funding is awarded through our annual funding cycle. If approved for funding the contract term is for one year, January to December. Partners must re-apply for funding on an annual basis. Applications for this funding opportunity must meet our established criteria and be submitted using our Grant Portal. Please refer to our Funding Guidelines for more details on completing your application.
