Community Update: New Strategic Plan for 2025 – 2028

We are excited to announce that our Board of Commissioners has officially adopted a new Strategic Plan for 2025 – 2028. This plan reflects our ongoing commitment to better serve our community by focusing on the most pressing needs and refining our approach to creating meaningful impact.

Updated Priority Areas

As part of this new strategic direction, we have updated our priority areas to ensure that our resources and efforts are aligned with the evolving needs of our community:

  1. Investing in Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Mental Health:
    • Our refined mental health focus will prioritize support for children, adolescents, and young adults, recognizing the unique challenges faced by individuals in these critical stages of development.
  2. Access to Direct Healthcare Services:
    • We will sharpen our focus on providing direct healthcare services to ensure that vital care is accessible to those who need it most.
  3. Evolving Our Approach to Food Security:
    • While food security will no longer be a central focus in this strategic plan, we remain deeply committed to supporting this essential need. Moving forward, our Board of Commissioners will collaborate with long-standing partners to establish ongoing contracts. This will eliminate the need for annual applications and foster more stable, sustainable partnerships to continue addressing food security effectively.

Funding Applications Opening Soon

We are also pleased to announce that our funding applications for 2026 contracts will open in early June of this year. We encourage all eligible organizations to prepare their applications and take advantage of this opportunity to collaborate with us in achieving our updated strategic goals.

Our Commitment Moving Forward

This strategic plan reflects our continued dedication to supporting the well-being of our community. We look forward to collaborating with local organizations, service providers, and community members to ensure that these updated priorities translate into tangible improvements in health and wellness outcomes.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.
