Verdant’s Commitment to Equity and Diversity
The Verdant Health Commission stands with Communities of Color to eliminate inequities and create change so that every resident has access to the healthcare that they deserve.
Racial and ethnic disparities exist and result in worse health outcomes. This is unacceptable. We recognize that we have work to do in this area, and we are reevaluating our programs and practices to determine how and where we can better serve Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). The Verdant Health Commission is committed to working with South Snohomish County healthcare providers, government, nonprofits, and community-based organizations to enhance the quality of life and respect the diversity of every individual in Public Hospital District No. 2, Snohomish County.
