Program funded: September 2014 through August 2017

A collaboration among south Snohomish County cities’ recreation departments, this program provides third-grade students in the Edmonds School District service area with access to free swim lessons. Each student receives three vouchers, and each voucher can be redeemed for a set of swim lessons at the facility of their choosing: the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion, the Lynnwood Rec Center or Yost Pool in Edmonds (open in the summer only). This program aims to provide greater access to swim lessons, allowing students to improve their swimming abilities and to be more knowledgeable in and around the water.

This program is available to all third-grade students living in the Edmonds School District service area.
