HYBRID FORMAT – What does it mean when Verdant offers a hybrid class? This means the class is offered with the flexibility to attend in-person or virtual – attendee will select their preferred method when registering.
CLASS DESCRIPTION –
Join Amy Reuter, RDN, to discover delicious recipes that incorporate foods known to support strong bones, including dairy products like yogurt and cheese, kefir as well as non-dairy alternatives such as leafy greens, tofu, and calcium rich whole foods. Our nutritionist will guide you through the importance of these nutrients and how to easily integrate them into your daily meals.

Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm PST
In-person: at the Verdant Community Wellness Center (4710 196th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98036) Limited seating is available. Must arrive by 5:50 pm to enter the Demo Kitchen, if you arrive after the demo starts, we may not be able to let you in. Please be mindful that the staff is busy working on the Zoom aspect of the demo and will need to be focused on supporting the dietitian and those in attendance. Please enter through the back doors that face the large parking lot.
Virtual: a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.
A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register to attend virtually. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.
Cost: Free
Registration is required, but space is limited. Registration ends 1 day prior to demo.*
* If this class is oversubscribed, priority will be given to residents living in South Snohomish County due to funding restrictions.
