HYBRID FORMAT – What does it mean when Verdant offers a hybrid class? This means the class is offered with flexibility to attend in-person or virtual – attendee will select their preferred method when registering.
CLASS DESCRIPTION –
Be transported to Costa Rica, as Registered Dietitian Amy Reuter prepares Gallo Pinto. Amy will show how quickly this authentic dish comes together and share the simple secret behind its unique flavor. Amy will also be preparing baked plaintains to serve as a side dish or snack.
Class will be led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Amy Reuter. Recipes and handouts will be shared with individuals who attend virtually or in-person.

In-person: at the Verdant Community Wellness Center (4710 196th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98036) Limited seating available. Must arrive by 5:50pm to enter the Demo Kitchen.
Virtual: a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.
A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register to attend virtually. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.
