HYBRID FORMAT – What does it mean when Verdant offers a hybrid class? This means the class is offered with flexibility to attend in-person or virtual – attendee will select their preferred method when registering.

CLASS DESCRIPTION –

Learn about the health benefits and various ways you can eat berries this season. Some examples of recipes are strawberries paired with goat cheese and balsamic glaze, blueberry pie, berry flatbreads or a mixed berries mocktail.

Class will be led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Christy Goff. Recipes and handouts will be shared with individuals who attend virtually or in-person.

In-person: at the Verdant Community Wellness Center (4710 196th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98036) Limited seating available. Must arrive by 12:50pm to enter the Demo Kitchen.

Virtual: a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.

A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register to attend virtually. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.

* If this class is oversubscribed, priority will be given to residents living in South Snohomish County due to funding restrictions.
