Announcing Verdant’s inaugural Latina women’s health conference
The Verdant Health Commission and its partners are hosting their inaugural health conference for Spanish-speakers on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at Community Life Center in Lynnwood. Titled “Corazón y Conexión,” which translates to “Heart & Connection,” this event will bring together women from our community to learn about health issues and make connections with one another. Professional speakers will deliver their messages in Spanish on topics and activities including behavioral health issues like anxiety, depression, and mindfulness; brain health related to lifestyle choices; salsa dancing; and more.
Please help us spread the word about this event, which serves as an important opportunity to help educate and empower members of our community who might not otherwise have access to this information.
