Program funded: May 2013 – April 2014

With the goal of ensuring all 3rd-8th grade students in the Edmonds School District has access to bicycle helmets, this program will provide nearly 500 free helmets to children in need. The benefits of this program are both safety-related, as it will increase the frequency with which children wear helmets, but also to promote bicycling as a fun way for kids to exercise.
