On September 20, 2025, Mountlake Terrace’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission and Edmonds School District host their second annual Welcoming Week event. The City of Mountlake Terrace is a new member of Welcoming America.  Through Welcoming Week, organizations and communities around the county bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity. This event introduces community members to city services and regional programs about jobs, training, immigrant rights and assistance services, emergency services, city services, and offered opportunities to create new relationships.
