Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program

Program funded: August 2018 – August 2021

Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County (DVS) offers residents in South Snohomish County resources through its Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program, which aims to support 500 teens per year through partnerships with area high schools. The program shows teens how to recognize the warning signs of abuse, how to build healthy relationships and how and where to find help if needed. In addition, DVS is establishing new referral locations in south county, expanding its reach to other businesses, nonprofits and agencies while educating these groups on signs of abuse. All of these steps are in an effort to educate and enable our residents to find support if the need arises.
