Teen Counseling Program

Program funded: January 2016 through December 2017

Aiming to reach teens and youth who have little or no insurance or ability to pay, this counseling program offers middle school and high school youth an opportunity to work with a therapist. All sessions with the therapist take place at the student’s school, and the topics discussed vary greatly depending on need. Areas addressed can include improving the youth’s access to resources, strengthening their connection to their parent or caregiver and addressing their personal safety.

Participation in this program is referral-based through middle and high schools in the Edmonds School District.
