Program funded: 2011

The Edmonds Public Schools Foundation’s 5K Street Strut supported fitness and fun for families and kids within the Edmonds School District. Engaging with other agencies that offered programs to combat childhood obesity, the 2011 Street Strut served as a kickoff event for these many programs. The public schools with the greatest participation also received a cash prize to benefit the school’s P.E. department, to support the foundation’s mission of enriching students’ education while encouraging health and fitness throughout the year.
