Linking Patients to Donated Medical Care

Program funded: July 2015 through June 2018

Without insurance, getting specialty medical care can be very difficult. But there are physicians who are willing to donate their time to provide needed services to the uninsured or underinsured. That’s where Project Access Northwest comes into play. Through this program, they remove the logistical and financial barriers that often keep patients and doctors apart. Project Access patients are typically referred to this service through emergency rooms and primary care physicians. This program will expand the number of local physicians who are donating services, while increasing the number of patients being served.
