Public Hospital District 2, Snohomish County, WA dba. Verdant Health Commission is soliciting Requests for Qualifications from Architectural Design Services firms with expertise related to architecture and design.
Response Deadline: 5:00 pm January 18, 2013
Description of Projects:
1) Conceptual design of a Verdant Health Commission community wellness center with business office space
2) Final design of the Verdant Health Commission community wellness center with business office space
Consultant services may include but are not limited to the preparation of: Architectural design, structural engineering, MEP design, programming, cost estimate, construction administration, landscaping, and interior design. Architectural fees may range from $5,000 to $150,000, subject to detailed scope of work to be negotiated with the selected firm(s). The anticipated time-frame for projects is 2013-2014, subject to actual needs.
Qualifications: Firms will be selected based upon demonstration of extensive technical expertise, relevant experience with similar projects, experience with similar sized public agencies, successful performance history with budget and scope, professional references, and must be registered in the state of Washington.
Submittals: Submittals shall include: 1) firms work history, 2) resume of principal-in-charge and project manager, and 3) evidence that architectural design expertise is a principle business enterprise of the firm. All qualifications must be clearly marked Qualifications for Architectural Projects.
Firms shall submit (3) copies of Qualifications (up to a maximum 10 pages front and back, 12 pt. font, plus letter of interest) per project no later than 5:00 PM, January 18, 2013 to:

Selection: Each firm will be evaluated based on its submittal of qualifications. Firms will be selected for interviews at the Districts discretion. Interviews are anticipated in January, 2013.
