Join us to learn what the popular term “Mindfulness” is all about. Hear an overview of the brain science behind mindfulness and the physical and mental health benefits of practicing it on a regular basis.
The session will be presented by Dr. Marie Andresen, an Integrative Health & Wellness Coach. She will guide the group through several mindfulness exercises and will offer ways that individuals can apply these practices in daily life. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers and information about a free 6-week series called Using Mindfulness to Manage Stress scheduled to start later in May.
This free class takes place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th Street SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
