Join Registered Dietitian Amy Reuter as she presents evidenced-based sports nutrition recommendations to help youth 11-18 years optimize athletic performance, health, and overall wellness. Amy will start with a basic nutrition framework and then discuss food adjustments based on intensity, type, and timing of training and competition. Tips for maintaining adequate hydration will also be discussed as well as pre-and post-training snack ideas.
This free class takes place Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. in a virtual meeting setting – join us from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register.
