Are you an adult trying to eat healthier? Are you on a tight budget?
Join us the 2nd Thursday of each month for a virtual class that focuses on recipes with budget-friendly foods that maximize your food dollars. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will focus on using economical foods to make healthy and delicious meals. This class is a “virtual cooking demo” and will highlight recipes that feature winter squash while it is in-season. Recipes and ingredient ideas will be shared.
This free class takes place Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 2-3 p.m. in a virtual meeting setting – join us from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.
Note: This is a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free. This class is not designed as a cook-along. All key elements will be shown in class, however instructors may complete time-consuming steps in advance. Pre-registration is required, space is limited.*
* If this class is oversubscribed, priority will be given to residents living in South Snohomish County due to funding restrictions.
