The MIND Diet: Eating for Better Brain Health

Back to events

Event Details

Did you know that what you eat can help lower your risk of Alzheimer’s disease, depression, and dementia by more than 50 percent? Recently published research found this to be true of an eating pattern for brain health called the MIND diet. Making simple changes in what you eat can have a powerful effect on brain health — providing many health benefits, including preventing memory loss and improving cognitive function.

Kim Larson, RDN, CD, and Health & Wellness Coach from Total Health will explain the nutrition research behind the MIND diet, show you how to follow it, and explain the amazing benefits it provides for brain health as well as prevention of other chronic diseases.

This free class takes place on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
