Take Control with a Lifestyle Reset is a comprehensive 12-week program taught by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who will cover nutrition and lifestyle for reducing risk for type 2 diabetes.
Learn up-to-date information about diabetes prevention and practical strategies to modify your lifestyle. One-hour weekly sessions delivered in a virtual classroom include:
- Nutrition education and recipes
- Exercise ideas and a resistance band to incorporate physical activity at home
- Virtual instruction with interactive group discussion
What: This program meets once a week for 12 consecutive weeks
When: Tuesdays, February 9 – April 27, 2021 from 12-1 p.m.
Where: Online using Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free and can work on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Fee: Program fee is $35 per person and includes a book. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. Space is limited and priority is given to residents of South Snohomish County.

- Activity Strategies and Goals
- Importance of Sleep
- Developing a Mind-Set for Success
- Strategies for Long-Term Behavior Change
Participants will receive a copy of the American Diabetes Association’s book Prediabetes: A Complete Guide for at-home reading along with a resistance band for fitness use and other electronic resources each week.
