Use It or Lose It – The Importance of Regular, Active Movement
Join Britt Myer, Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer for an interactive discussion about the importance of movement and activity as a part of your strategy to manage your blood sugar. Topics will include:
- recovering from injuries
- injury prevention
- core strengthening (without getting down on the floor)
- how to build the habit of stretching
- Q & A to answer your questions
Handouts will be sent to participants following the class.
This free class takes place on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 6-7:30 p.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Timezone) in a virtual meeting setting – join us from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register. * If this class is oversubscribed, priority will be given to residents living in South Snohomish County due to funding restrictions.
