Join us the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. virtually on your computer or smartphone for a presentation by a health professional to learn up-to-date information about diabetes and strategies for better blood sugar control. Updates on Medications to Manage Diabetes
Join Dr. Eric Wong, PharmD for an up-to-date review of medication management options for people living with diabetes.
This presentation will discuss how various medications are used to manage diabetes and control an individual’s blood sugar levels. The session will include the following topics:
- Discuss how different diabetes medications work in the body
- Newer diabetes medications on the market
- Common side effects and tips for how to manage them
- Immunization recommendations
- Financial assistance resources
- Question & answer with pharmacists trained in diabetes management
This free program takes place on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 6-7:30 p.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Timezone) in a virtual meeting room from your computer or smartphone. A Zoom link will be emailed 48 hours before the session to individuals who register.
Registration is limited to those with a diabetes or pre-diabetes diagnosis and their support person. Pre-registration is required in order to receive the link to join the online meeting.
