This free, online therapeutic support group offered 8 consecutive Wednesdays, Feb. 10 – March 31, 2021 from 5:30-7 p.m. in a virtual setting. This program is facilitated by Mykel Ziolo, MA, MA, MLHCA and designed for participation in all 8 weeks.

We all seek and need healthy human connections, but what if we feel unheard, unseen, not understood by those we are in relationship with? We can experience uncomfortable emotions that are difficult to manage or even tolerate. Repeated experiences like this can lead us to form patterns of unhelpful thinking, feeling, and communicating leaving us frustrated and confused about the best way to express the range of human emotion and to form a healthy relationship.

In this 8-week series we will uncover and explore any unhelpful patterns we may have created and learn how these patterns impact our relationship with self and others.

Drawing on the latest research, we will discover the purpose of relationship, healthy models of relating, and develop and practice new and effective ways of communicating our difficult emotions in relationship.
