A small amount of stress can be a good thing, but all too often we tend to overstress. In this unique class that combines yoga and nutrition, participants will learn techniques for both reducing and managing the stressors in their lives.
Join PacMed registered dietitian and yoga instructor Christy Goff for a well-rounded program on managing stress. The first part of class will be a gentle yoga class (on chairs or on a mat) with a focus on breathing practices. The second part of class will be a cooking demonstration in the teaching kitchen featuring foods that help nourish the body to protect it from the damaging effects of stress.
This free class takes place on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
