The Verdant Community Wellness Center is currently CLOSED.

Due to the continued risk of COVID-19, the Verdant Community Wellness Center will be closed through March 31, 2020.  All programs and services have been cancelled through this date and may be rescheduled at a later time.

Description:
Come and join Dr. Greg Grant, podiatrist at Pacific Medical Center, to review common concerns about foot care including how nutrition can play a role in your prognosis. Following this question-and-answer style class, PacMed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Christy Goff, will guide you through simple recipes for lowering inflammation and keeping your bones healthy and strong.

What To Expect: In this class, participants learn from a podiatrist and registered dietitian nutritionist about the importance of foot care including delicious foods that contribute to better foot health.

  • Class is 2 hours long
  • You will be seated for the majority of the time, but will move rooms for the cooking demo to learn foods that reduce inflammation and promote foot health
  • You will enjoy a tasty sample of recipes prepared during the cooking demo

This free class takes place on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 12-2 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
