Join certified tai chi instructor Marie Andresen for this introductory class*, suitable for adults of all ages, beliefs, and abilities. Classes will meet for 75 minutes two times per week for four weeks (8 total sessions) and will help participants learn beginning tai chi and qigong skills through demonstration and practice. Skills will include deep breathing and slow, focused movements to relax the body and calm the mind to reduce stress, improve concentration, and strengthen the mind-body connection.

Class size will be limited to 14 participants to allow for individualized instruction.

* To provide this learning opportunity to as many people as possible, individuals may only take Tai Chi for one series. Past attendees will not be eligible to participate.

This class series takes place on Mondays: Oct. 15, 22, 29, & Nov. 5, 2018 AND Thursdays: Oct. 18, 25, Nov. 1 & 8, 2018 from 12:30–1:45 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Please see below for the price and scholarship information.

$25.00 per person (Scholarships available to residents of Public Hospital District No. 2, Snohomish County based on income – please download the form for more information.
