Seattle Visiting Nurse Association will provide a series of public immunization clinics to be held this fall at locations throughout South Snohomish County. Each of these clinics will offer uninsured and underinsured residents of Public Hospital District No. 2 the opportunity to receive a no-cost seasonal influenza (and where requested Tdap) immunization.
Individuals with insurance coverage are welcome at any of the scheduled clinics and in those instances SVNA will bill insurance plans directly with no out of pocket cost to the recipient. Over a period of ten weeks (mid-September through November) SVNA clinics will reach an estimated 5,000-7,000 residents that would otherwise not be able to receive this important preventive care service. This free clinic was made possible with support from the Verdant Health Commission.
