We all can do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. What does this look like? It’s safest to stay home, but if you do head out:
- Wear a cloth face covering
- Stay 6 feet apart
- Wash your hands
When you are in a location where it is difficult to stay more than six feet apart, wearing a face cover can help reduce the likelihood that you are spreading COVID-19. You should still maintain distance as much as possible. While wearing a face cover, avoid touching your face. Wash your hands frequently. For safety reasons, children under the age of 2 should not wear a cloth cover.
To help us all be successful in preventing the spread of the disease, Verdant is hosting a drive-thru cloth mask giveaway event from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 and again from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW in Lynnwood.
At the event, drivers are encouraged to stay in their cars and loop through the Verdant parking lot (following the signs) to receive a limit of 2 masks per person. These cloth masks will each be in a plastic baggie.
