The Verdant Community Wellness Center is currently CLOSED.

Due to the continued risk of COVID-19, the Verdant Community Wellness Center will be closed through March 31, 2020.  All programs and services have been cancelled through this date and may be rescheduled at a later time.

Description:
Join us as we travel halfway around the world to experience a taste of India! Dietitians Megan Ellison and Gillian Schultz will be sharing their experiences from Shimla during a cooking demo. Allow yourself to be transported with the tastes and smells of local spices, traditional chai, and recipes from the foothills of the Himalayas.

What To Expect: In this adult cooking demonstration class, participants learn from Registered Dietitian Nutritionists about Indian food choices and how to incorporate some of these ethnic foods in their diet.

  • Class is 90 minutes long
  • You will be seated, learning various techniques and foods to use in Indian recipes
  • Recipes will be shared

This free adult cooking demo takes place on Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
