Join Christy Goff, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at Pacific Medical Centers, to learn how to make delicious vegetarian meals using plant-based proteins. The class will explore cooking techniques and the health benefits of tofu, tempeh, beans, and more. Additionally, the class will discuss some of the nutrients that are important to focus on more closely to avoid deficiencies. Whether you are choosing plant-based proteins for your health or for the health of the environment, you can transform your meals into mouth-watering delights!

What To Expect: In Verdant’s demonstration cooking classes, participants meet in our teaching kitchen to learn from a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist how to prepare and enjoy delicious, healthy foods.

  • Class is 90 minutes long
  • You will be seated and watching a cooking demonstration while learning about ways to incorporate vegetable proteins into your meals
  • You will enjoy tasty samples of featured recipes
