VIRTUAL: Teen Cook-Along: Rainbow Vegetable Sushi Rolls
Teens, age 11-17 years, can cook along with Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Amy Reuter in this virtual class.
Looking for a delicious and colorful lunch or after school snack idea? If so, join Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Amy Reuter on April 1st to make rainbow vegetable sushi rolls and dipping sauce. Participants will learn the basics of sushi making and practice their knife skills during this one-hour event. Hope to see you via Zoom for this fun cook along!

This class is designed as a cook-along with the instructor preparing this recipe in Verdant’s teaching kitchen while teens log into Zoom and cook along in their kitchen at home. Teens who register before Thursday (3/30) can choose to:
- pick up free ingredients at Verdant the day before class (3/31) between 2-6pm
- purchase their own supplies to use during the class
Note: This is a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.

Cost: Free for teens ages 11-17 years. Participants can choose to pick up free supplies or purchase their own supplies depending on date of registration. An ingredient list will be provided in advance.
Pre-registration is required, space is limited*
* Priority will be given to teens living in South Snohomish County when the class is full, due to funding restrictions.
