Teens, age 11-17 years, can cook along with Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Amy Reuter in this virtual class.
Join Registered Dietitian Amy Reuter in creating two holiday treats with nutritious twists. Amy will begin by guiding participants in making Chocolate Crinkle Cookies followed by chocolate covered strawberry footballs for game season! Hope you bake along with us on November 18th!

This class is designed as a cook-along with the instructor preparing this recipe in Verdant’s teaching kitchen while teens log into Zoom and cook along in their kitchen at home. Teens who register before Thursday (at noon) can choose to:
- pick up free ingredients at Verdant the day before class (11/17) between 2-6pm
- purchase their own supplies to use during the class
Note: This is a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.
Date: Saturday, November 18, 2023

Virtual Meeting – join us from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.
Cost: Free for teens ages 11-17 years. Participants can choose to pick up free supplies or purchase their own supplies depending on date of registration. An ingredient list will be provided in advance.
Also, starting in the new year we will be starting a 3-strike policy for no-shows, so if you cannot attend, reach out to us through email or a quick phone message and the wellness center will directly cancel your ticket. We’re sharing this now to start heading in this direction, and once we are in 2024, we will be officially activating said policy. We don’t want it to sneak up on anyone, so please let us know if you cannot make it!
