VIRTUAL: Budget Friendly Foods- Berries

Are you an adult trying to eat healthier? Are you on a tight budget?

Join us the 2nd Wednesday of each month for a virtual class that focuses on recipes with budget-friendly foods that maximize your food dollars. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will focus on using economical foods to make healthy and delicious meals.

Everyone knows just how well the Pacific Northwest grows apples. But did you know we rock at growing berries, too? Buying berries locally is what makes them a budget-friendly food during their peak season of August. Join Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Taelin Lanier Flores on Wednesday and let’s obsess about all the delicious and nutritious ways we can use berries in sweet and savory dishes.

Recipes will be shared with participants.
