NEW FORMAT – What does it mean when Verdant offers a hybrid class? This means the class is offered with flexibility to attend in-person or virtual – attendee will select their preferred method when registering. We will continue to monitor and follow all guidance from the state and local health district regarding safety measures like masking when in person. Your health and safety are our highest priority, and we want to ensure your experience in our classes is positive and safe.
CLASS DESCRIPTION –
Start Spring with a crunchy, Asian-inspired raw asparagus salad and a smooth silky green pea and asparagus soup. Join Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Amy Reuter as she prepares this flavorful soup & salad combo. Amy will also provide make ahead tips for each recipe.

Class will be led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Recipes and handouts will be shared with individuals who attend virtually or in-person.
Samples will be provided to in-person attendees.

In-person: at the Verdant Community Wellness Center (4710 196th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98036) Limited seating available. Must arrive by 5:50pm to enter the Demo Kitchen.
Virtual: a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.
A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register to attend virtually. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.

Registration is required, space is limited*
* If this class is oversubscribed, priority will be given to residents living in South Snohomish County due to funding restrictions.
