VIRTUAL: Cooking Demo – Making Friends with Fiber

Due to Verdant’s recent change  in COVID-19 guidelines, all of our classes have been moved online.  Your health and safety are our highest priority, and we want to ensure your experience in our classes is positive and safe.

CLASS DESCRIPTION-

Does the word “fiber” make you picture boring bran cereal and dry salads?

Explore delicious ways to get more fiber into your days with Nicole Lyon, a Registered Dietitian who specializes in digestive health. This wondrous food compound can help to lower cholesterol, regulate blood sugar, and improve digestion (just to name a few). Fiber, found in plant foods, has tons of health benefits and eating it doesn’t have to be boring. Join us for this cooking demo focused on fiber friendly recipes.

Recipes will be shared with those who participate.
