NEW FORMAT – What does it mean when Verdant offers a hybrid class? This means the class is offered with flexibility to attend in-person or virtual – attendee will select their preferred method when registering. We will continue to monitor and follow all guidance from the state and local health district regarding safety measures like masking when in person. Your health and safety are our highest priority, and we want to ensure your experience in our classes is positive and safe.
CLASS DESCRIPTION – Come join Registered Dietitian Amy Reuter as she demonstrates how to make BBQ Chicken Sweet Potato Pizza and a Fresh Corn Salad for Two. She will start by making a 3 ingredient sweet potato pizza crust and then top it with chicken, BBQ sauce, red onions, cheese, and cilantro. To accompany the pizza, Amy will prepare a fresh and flavorful corn salad that comes together in minutes. Hope you can join us!
Class will be led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Recipes and handouts will be shared with individuals who attend virtually or in-person.
In-person: at the Verdant Community Wellness Center (4710 196th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98036) Limited seating available. Must arrive by 5:50pm to enter the Demo Kitchen.
Virtual: a demonstration class offered live via Zoom, a web-based video conferencing platform that is free.
A Zoom link will be emailed 24-48 hours before the session to individuals who register to attend virtually. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely, please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.
