Program funded:  December 2014 – December 2017

This project will develop an active recreational site at the former Woodway High School.  The work includes completing two turf fields, a walking path and a play area.  There is a significant need for turf fields that can accommodate the many year round athletic activities, especially youth activities, in our community.

The development of this recreational site will provide greater opportunities for increased physical activity.  The project’s goal is to provide a destination place to increase healthy behaviors.  Expected completion of the project is December 2015.

This is a joint project with the Edmonds School District and the City of Edmonds.
