Poverty 101 Service Provider Training
Program funded: November 2013
Coordinated to support service providers who work with individuals living in poverty, “Poverty 101” was a day-long workshop that included role playing, activities, modeling and dialogue to help practitioners understand and practice the core concepts of working with low-income and vulnerable adults. The training provided opportunities for people to better learn how to provide a welcoming environment and motivate those from poverty backgrounds.
