Healthy Living Coaching Group

Join this free, weekly coaching group for support, accountability, and motivation to improve your habits and live a healthier life! Each group meeting takes place in the kitchen at Verdant and will focus on goal-setting strategies, nutrition tips, and physical activity ideas that will support your interest in improving your whole health. Every meeting will be a little different and will include demonstrations or hands-on ways to test out the ideas shared. Come prepared to learn a new cooking skill, try a taste of something different, or activate your muscles.

This group meets every Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.

Group members may set goals related to increasing their intake of vegetables, trying new ways to get active, improve their blood glucose level, or lose weight. This is not a “plan” or “diet,” but rather, it’s an opportunity to learn new techniques, debunk health myths, and stay accountable for the great work you are doing to prioritize your health.

This coaching group is facilitated by a team of registered dietitians and exercise physiologists (see names below), and at each group meeting, two of these health professionals will lead the conversation, but the backbone of this coaching group is its members. Peer support often provides new insights and feedback that is very helpful to other group members, so we value participation and involvement from everyone. This is a drop-in program with no registration required, however, we hope members will commit to the group and attend when they can for as long as they need.
